What they are hiding, is what we are seeking - CURES

This is for anyone experiencing the frustrating medical system in our country which is dominated by Big Pharma and Big Dollars.

While researching alternative treatments for cancer for my friend, I happened upon an article at the site for #CancerCentersofAmerica and it's sad to find that they are wrapped up in the pharmaceuticals game too.  I was researching graviola - which I've known about for some time as I had learned it was effective in eradicating breast cancer. The article on their site stated "But claims of the fruit's anti-cancer properties have attracted the most attention. A study published in the Journal of Medicinal Chemistry in 1997 suggests that soursop (fruit from the graviola tree) compounds tested on breast cancer cells in culture were more effective than chemotherapy in destroying the cells. But, without clinical trials, there is no data to support the claim." So one must ask one’s self why are there no clinical studies? - because there are so many cures and pharmaceutical companies want treatments, not cures, so they can keep raking in the billions and billions and billions of dollars. After stating that “Soursop fruit, with its sweet flesh and distinctive flavor, is grown commercially to make juice, candy, sorbet and ice cream”, The article went on to talk about certain toxicity risks  - hmmm, let’s see, they are making juice, candy, sorbet and other products with it, but don’t use it for cancer – it may be toxic?!!! There was a lady responding to the article there who ate the fruit and drank the juice while she lived in Jamaica and Canada as did her entire family "87 people for 30+ years" with no ill effects. You have to sort through the muck and make your own decisions, but be aware the pharmaceuticals and their allies will use scare tactics to keep you away from the possibility of a cure without their costly drugs which can have far worse consequences then some of these alternatives, as my friend Brenda has found out as she has a heart that's working at 15% from being destroyed  by chemo. She can't have more chemo because it's destroyed her heart and she can't get a new heart because she still has the cancer and of course insurance won’t pay for that – after all – she’s stage IV – she still has the cancer because they had to stop treatment with their poisons because the poisons have robbed her of options, killed her heart and robbed her of a future with her children and grandchildren.  The medical community has given up on her. She’s only 53.  She’s a mother, daughter, sister, friend and a nurse who cared for many people.  I used to think Cancer Centers of America was open to alternative treatments for advanced cases but after reading that article, I tend to believe they stick to the pharmaceuticals. Remember, main-stream medicine is not about finding cures, but treating illnesses.  In my heart, I believe there are more cures than we can even imagine being stifled and hidden from the general public.  If someone you love suffers from cancer – research, research, and then research more.  At least if you have information to give them, they can make their own INFORMED CHOICES.  Also, a side note on #CancerCentersofAmerica – their slogan is “care that never quits” but it is also care that never begins if you don’t have private insurance or the cash to pay up front for the exorbitant fees to get treatment there.   If only there were more hospitals like #St.JudeChildren’sResearchHospital – that accepts children regardless of their families' ability to pay – God bless the founders of #St.JudeChildren’sResearchHospital and the people that donate to keep it going.  I wish they had an adult division.
